Most estimates are ready within 1–2 weeks, depending on the size of the project. We’ll keep you updated along the way so you’re never left waiting or guessing.
Absolutely. If the estimate comes in higher than you were expecting, we’ll go over the details and suggest material or design changes that can help bring costs down. If you’d like to add to the project, we’ll update the estimate before anything is signed.
We’ll always do our best to accommodate changes whenever possible. Additions can be billed separately, and while removing items can sometimes be tricky depending on the stage of work, we’ll talk it through and find a solution that works for you.
No — and here’s why. Every home is different, and packages often mean paying for things you don’t need. Instead, we create estimates tailored to your space and your budget, so you only pay for the work that truly adds value to your home.
Yes — F.K. Renovations carries up to $2,000,000 in liability insurance. It’s one more way we make sure you and your home are protected while we work.
Our typical hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 or 6:00 p.m.. If mornings are busy in your household, we can arrange later start times to keep things running smoothly for you.
Yes, renovations can be stressful. But we believe in a simple principle: treat others the way you want to be treated. That means that we respect your home. We will keep the project site as clean as possible. We will not leave garbage piled up in front of your home for extended time periods and when the work day is done we clean up. When it comes to noise that is unfortunately in the nature of renovations but we can set up a plan to work around your schedule to make sure we are not hammering away during your online meetings or interfering with your morning routines.

Good question! We are professional, respectful, and punctual. We believe in providing the homeowner with quality work. As home renovation experts we are ready to sit down with you and make sure you get the most out of your home based on the budget you are comfortable working with. While renovating your home we will respect your space and continue to analyze your home to make sure that while we are renovating we do not ignore any other changes that can be made that will maximize the potential of your home. We never pressure you to make any changes but we feel that it is fair as the homeowners to know what is going on within the walls of your home. As for who to pick to do your renovation, we can not say to pick us over anyone, as the homeowner it is your right to choose the person you feel the most comfortable with.
Definitely! As the homeowner, it is important to feel comfortable about the work getting done in your home. If you have multiple projects, we can tackle each project one at a time but it is important to let us know which projects you are thinking of in the future as the different rooms may be more connected than you think.
